This is the first exhibition in the series "Mt. Fuji in Edo Culture." The official catalogue for the exhibition consists of two parts: Part 1 examines the establishment and development of the standard form of Mt. Fuji paintings, focusing on the father and son Kano Ikawa-in Eishin and Seisen-in Yoshinobu, who were the top painters for the Tokugawa Shogunate, and Part 2 examines the heyday of the Edo art world through a comparison of "Dragons Over Mt.
